Forestry Studies in China, launched in 1992, is an official English-language publication of Beijing Forestry University. Now a quarterly journal, it publishes original peer-reviewed papers, rapid communications and reviews on forest ecology, silviculture, forest management, forest tree breeding, tree physiology, forest pest and disease control, forest resource information management, forestry economics and management. Articles on related subjects, such as soil and water conservation, wood science and technology, and forest products processing, are also welcome.
The journal aims to encourage academic exchange between scientists in different fields who share a common interest in forestry research, and to bridge the gap in the above fields between researchers in China and abroad.
